Our Mercedes-Benz fleet offers three options: the E-Class Saloon, E-Class Estate and V-Class. Here is how to think about the choice before requesting your journey.
E-Class Saloon: a considered choice for everyday executive travel
The E-Class Saloon accommodates up to four passengers, with space for approximately two large suitcases and two to three pieces of hand luggage.
It is an option to consider for individual business travel, journeys as a couple or a small party whose luggage fits comfortably within that capacity. The appeal is straightforward: a refined environment in which to settle into your journey.
For a working day, that might mean taking a quiet moment before an appointment. For an airport transfer, it might mean starting your trip without having to arrange the driving yourself.
E-Class Estate: familiar comfort with additional luggage space
The E-Class Estate also accommodates up to four passengers, with more flexibility for luggage. Its stated capacity is up to four large cases, or approximately four medium cases with two to three pieces of hand luggage.
That additional space can be useful when the passenger count is modest but the packing list is longer. Think of a family trip, an extended stay away or a journey with several suitcases.
Case dimensions vary, so please treat these capacities as a guide. Tell us what you are bringing, particularly if you have a pushchair or another bulky item, and we can discuss suitability before confirming your vehicle.
V-Class: space for travelling together
Our Mercedes-Benz V-Class accommodates up to six passengers, with room for approximately six large suitcases and around four pieces of hand luggage.
It is worth considering when travelling as a larger family or small group. Sharing one vehicle keeps the journey together, from the first collection to arrival at your destination.
For a group airport enquiry, include the total passenger count and the luggage for the whole party. If there are several collection addresses, share them too so that the route can be considered as part of your quote.
Look beyond the number of seats
A vehicle’s maximum capacity does not tell the whole story. Four passengers with light bags may be comfortable in a different arrangement from four passengers bringing large cases and a child seat.
When enquiring, a useful starting point is to provide:
- The number of passengers, including children
- The number and approximate size of suitcases
- Hand luggage and any oversized items
- Any child seats you will bring
- A vehicle preference, if you have one
MB Executive Cars does not provide child seats. You are welcome to bring your own approved seat; please discuss the arrangement with us in advance.
Small comforts, personally arranged
Complimentary bottled water is provided in every vehicle. Wi-Fi hotspot access is available on request, subject to availability. If you expect to need a connection, mention it when arranging your journey.
